Two Bilkent alumni won awards for the best MSc thesis in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. The competition was organized by IEEE Computer Society Turkey, and the results were announced on October 15, 2022. The competition was created to identify and appreciate the best MSc thesis in the field of Computer Science and Engineering.
Hamdi Alperen Çetin and his advisor Asst. Prof. Eray Tüzün won first prize with the thesis “Analyzing Developer Contributions Using Artifact Traceability Graphs.” Emre Doğan and his advisors Asst. Prof. Tüzün and Prof. Halil Altay Güvenir won third prize with the thesis “Towards a Taxonomy of Code Review Smells.”
